Lauren Norton
Bilingual Family Support Specialist
Born and raised on the rainy Olympic Peninsula in Washington state, Lauren moved to Telluride in 2017 in search of sunshine, snow, and a place to call home in the mountains. Since then, she has worked with a variety of organizations across the region, building strong cross-cultural relationships through her Spanish-speaking skills and deep community engagement.
Lauren has taught English through Bright Futures for several years and now serves as the bilingual Parents as Teachers educator for San Miguel County. In this role, she supports Latine families throughout the region, offering culturally responsive education and interpretation services.
Outside of work, Lauren finds joy and grounding in nature. She loves skiing, hiking, and spending time with her beloved dog, Pancho.
