  • Early Childhood Mental Health Consultant

    Bright Futures is seeking an Early Childhood Mental Health Consultant (ECMHC) to provide early childhood mental health consultation services to childcare programs, children under 6 years of age and community partners in San Miguel, Ouray, Montrose, Delta and San Juan counties approximately 30 hours/week. The ECMH Program seeks to increase the capacity of early care and learning programs to create nurturing environments that foster mental wellness among children, families and staff and focus on reduction of expulsions from childcare. Critical ECMHC activities also include young child parent education, and consultation with other early childhood systems such as: Early Intervention, home visiting and child welfare teams, and community training on topics relevant to social emotional development and well-being of young children.

  • Family Child Care Home Operator

    Bright Futures is seeking an individual for operator services of the Sunnyside Family Child Care Home Unit. The Sunnyside Apartments and Tiny Homes is a newly constructed town-owned affordable housing development located in the town of Telluride. As part of the development’s planning, the town of Telluride designated one four-bedroom unit at Sunnyside to operate as a licensed Family Child Care Home, creating a dedicated child care space to support working families in the community. Bright Futures shall act in an advisory capacity to the town of Telluride in identifying an occupant for this FCCH Unit, the town of Telluride will have the final authority regarding use and occupancy of this FCCH Unit. FCCH Unit has an established accepted age group (with priority to be placed on infants and toddlers), preliminary occupancy numbers, and other limitations on the use of the FCCH Unit as a child care facility. This FCCH unit will provide year-round housing for the occupant and year-round licensed high-quality infant, toddler, and preschool care to local working families.
