Rural Homes Early Childhood Coordinator
Valentina Estrella is a first-generation immigrant who moved to the states at 5 years old. This life experience has greatly fueled her passion for uplifting the often-overlooked voices and empowering community members. Deeply rooted in community work and engagement, Valentina has facilitated 37 Justice, Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion trainings. Valentina joins Bright Futures as the Rural Homes Early Childhood Coordinator. In this role, she will coordinate initiatives related to addressing the need of childcare through the implementation of family childcare homes. Lack of affordable childcare is one of the most prominent barriers individuals and families face while attempting to return to the workforce. Valentina is excited to be a part of this groundbreaking model.
