Bright Futures supports those interested in becoming Colorado licensed by providing initial information and resources, as well as providing the pre-licensing class required to attain a child care license.

Please download the above Pre-Licensing Packet and License links for more information on becoming licensed. The first step is to take the required 15-hour class needed to get licensed in Colorado for child care in your home. Please call Bright Futures for upcoming dates 970-728-5613.
The course is offered over two Saturdays about a month apart. Both Saturdays need to be completed.
Topics will include administration & supervision, family & community relationships, guidance, child growth & development, professionalism, cultural and individual diversity, health & safety & nutrition, social/emotional and developmentally appropriate practices.
Cost is $65 to Bright Futures in advance of the class.
Cost includes the 2-day class and binder of resources.
