Family Support Services

Family Support Services
For families with children ages 0-18

As a Family Resource Center, Bright Futures serves families in Ouray and San Miguel counties with comprehensive, coordinated case management services through dedicated family support specialists.

Bright Futures adheres to a “no wrong door” approach; we serve as a single point of contact for families in need of resources and support, and direct them to additional resources as needed.

Our trained Family Support Specialists collaborate with families to screen and assess the families’ strengths and needs, and then set goals and create a written plan to increase stability, achieve self-reliance and decrease risk factors.

The research based approach focuses on helping families build from their strengths, take charge of their lives and access resources that are available in their communities.
